Check out my pics there is one of me at about 245 in a green dress and I am about 165 in my profile pic and in the one with my son on my shoulders. I am 5' 8".
Thank you! I am 2 inches taller and about 10 pounds heavier than you were in the green dress and look similar right now, so your 165 pic is probably pretty similar to what I can expect at 180, I would think.
BTW - you look fabulous!
thank you so much.... you can do it!0 -
bump! (so i can reply later!)0

Awesome! Thank you!0 -
ok, going to give this a go!
I am 5'10" and started at 228 in December '09. Here are a few 'before pics'
here are some fairly current pics (taken @ 190 lbs)
this is one of me (about 8 years ago) at my lowest adult weight after a round of Weight Watchers (@ 178 lbs)
My inital goal was to get to 174, which puts me *just into* the "healthy" BMI range. I have recently decided to extend that goal and go further with it now that i have been at it for some time and am feeling confident with my new lifestyle. I graduated from high school in 1989 weighing 157 but i am shooting for 140. I will be happy with 157 though!!!0 -
I'm 5'8" and currently weigh 156.7 as of today's reading on the evil scale : ) I started at 193.6 back in Jan. 2007 and have kept 35 of the 43 lbs I originally lost that year off but have lost and gained the same 10 lbs a couple of times.
ETA I just uploaded my before pic (at 193.6) and an old one at 160.8 to my profile pics. I'm waiting for my husband to send some new ones that I just took 2 weeks ago.

I just joined myself. Thanks for this thread and to everyone who shared their before and after pics. I started WW several months ago and switched to MFP earlier this week. So far I like MFP better (although WW was great, too). So far I've lost 24 pounds total although only 1.5 of those pounds have been on MFP. I still have about 85 lbs to lose. Seeing your pics was such a huge motivator and I'm happy to see that none of you seem to have trouble with excess skin hanging all over the place (one of my biggest worries).0

We're pretty similar in our loss and our goals - welcome and I'm glad you're here!0 -
p.s. I'm 5'9
You look great!0 -
Cory -- you look great! Keep going.
I have pictures on photobucket B & A. Posted them about 2 weeks ago. It was an ordeal and still another MFP member had to go into my post & fix it for things to display right.
What would really be cool is if we could all have the option of 2 profile pics displayed. One before & 1 current that could be downloaded as easily as our profile pictures. Maybe someone can suggest this to TPTB!
It would make MFP evenore awesome, right?0 -

If you are willing to mess with MS Paint, you can combine your before/after pics into one image (sort of like I did with my face shots) and make it your profile picture.0 -
Tesing this one...I was approx 155 here. 5'9"
And more since that worked:
about 160 in April at my daughter's 1st bday:
about 160-165 over two years ago...
about 165 in June:
and I just realized that, now that I have been in the 170s, i have ZERO pics of myself. I was 169 yesterday...so Im hoping to start feeling better about taking pics before the holidays!
I might be 170ish in this pic from last Christmas:0 -
@katbass - you look great!
THANKS! I know that, if i were less than 5'7", I would be huge...so while I have often felt like my height was a curse, I definitely know that I am blessed with the ability to gain 5lbs without anyone really noticingI was 155 when my daughter came home from the hospital in April 2009. Last week, I hit my all-time heaviest at 173lbs. How I gained almost 20 lbs in 18 months...I'll never know...especially since I was chasing a toddler! I am determined to lose it for her 2nd birthday in April.
(And NOT gain it for her 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc etc etc!)
