Cold and sleepy after eating

After nearly every time I eat I get extremely cold and sleepy. Does this happen to anyone else, or does anybody know possible explanations for this?

Perhaps your metabolism and or blood sugar levels? I'm on a low carb diet, and I have noticed that my energy levels throughout the day have stabilized. This is contrast to before, where I used to get the afternoon sleepiness and chills after eating too.0

I find if I have something with a little higher sugar content I will get sleepy and cold. Having lost so much weight and going from an insulin pump to no meds at all, I figure it is the rush of sugar the insulin used to counteract. Also if you have lost considerably fat, you could be getting cold from that too. I barely ever got cold before losing weight, but now I'm cold most of the time.0
