I am recommitting to a low-carb life-style. About 6 years ago I lost 90lbs, ran a marathon (and several halfs) -- albeit very, very slowly, and have never felt as good in my life.... I want it back.
I believe in low carb 'by the book' -- literally, Dr. Atkins's book. But of course, I realize there is more than one way to do it -- that is just what I know works for me.
One of the reasons I believe I was so successful last time was because of an awesome online support group. I hope to find something similar here.
Here's to a happy, healthy new year!

I agree. I actually did the Dukan Diet about a year and a 1/2 ago and it actually cuts you off all carbs and then teaches you how to gradually add them back in your lifestyle. I have never felt better and I want look and feel that way again.0
