Thank you for your story. For about the 10th time I am vowing to lose weight. Its nice to see it can be done. So far the scale isn't moving and its very disappointing. What's your #1 tip? Thanks and you look awesome. Be proud of yourself.

My #1 tip is... sustainability! You have to find a way of eating and exercising that you enjoy and can see yourself doing for the rest of your life. If it's too unpleasant to you or too restrictive, you're unlikely to stick with it for the long run.

    1) Set reasonable goals
    2) Eat at a moderate deficit
    3) Log everything you eat and drink accurately and consistently
    4) Exercise for fitness

Thank you so much for posting. I have been monitoring my food and exercize on MFP for the past 5 days. I feel very good about starting, but I have a long way to go. Your story is similar to mine, so I will keep rereading it to stay motivated. Thanks!!
