"You're closer today than you were yesterday." Simple, to the point, and can be applied to my diet, health, or fitness. So it's definitely my weight loss mantra since all those things are so important to my particular goals.

Free food isn't free. Meaning just because it's at the office or just because it's leftovers doesn't mean I'm obligated to eat it. Every bite has a cost.
Also, SEC -- stop eating crap!

The moment when you want to quit, is the moment when you need to keep pushing. - Unknown.

    Keep on swimming . . . keep on swimming . . . keep on swimming . . .

From Dorie in Finding Nemo. (Note my ticker.) Losing weight isn't hard. It's tedious.

Including the variations of "keep walking", "keep running", and "keep lifting" as well as "I'm worth it!"

"I take my health seriously and make conscious choices to protect and enhance it."

Works for both food and exercise.

The mind quits before the body...

Exactly, so when my mind says stop my mantra is usually "I got this, just a little bit more, I can do this".

I only have mantras for running....as that is really the only place it starts to get hard sometimes. My top mantras are:

-Each step is one step closer to the top (hills).
-Just keep running, just keep running (to the jingle sang by Dory on Finding Nemo)
    -You are doing great!
-Keep going, only X miles left.

When I feel like I can't go any more I just tell myself that "The mental pain of being overweight far outweighs the physical pain I am experiencing at that moment".
