**I haven't posted in forever... if the pictures are huge or look weird... I promise I'm currently re-sizing on photo bucket lol*
I've posted before and afters before but today I found older photos I don't remember ever taking. It was just weeks after having my daughter so at my absolute heaviest (not pregnant). They honestly shocked me. I sat her with my hands over my mouth for the longest time. I just can't believe it's me.
In high school I bounced between 140 and 150. When I got married at 19 I was 160. After 2 years of being newly weds and doing whatever the heck we wanted whenever we wanted... I found myself at 202 lbs. Unacceptable. Seriously?! I was so mad at myself. I had no kids.... I had all the time in the world to work out but just didn't. I decided to take charge of my health and got down to 184 and BAM! Pregnant LOL I was 230 lbs when I had my daughter. And not 4 months later, I was pregnant... AGAIN!!! I was the exact same weight when I had my son... 230 lbs. I was determined to get healthy and when from 215 lbs after I had him to 140 lbs in less than a year! He's almost 2 now and I've yo-yo'd a lot. I got back up to 156 and hated myself for it. I've joined the 6 month long "diet bet" online where you bet $25 every month that you can lose 10% of your body weight by the end... the people that succeed split the pot. I has over 2500 players and the pot is over $330,000. Talk about motivation! I'm down to 149 lbs and feeling STRONG and ready to get down to my smallest... 135 lbs, here I come!!!
Here are a few photos:
A few days post partum
Chubby bunny
As embarrassed as I was, I tried to still be in photos..
The family pictures I dreaded taking and posting of facebook:
And THE picture that I found tonight that made me want to crawl in a dark hole.....
And now, for the good
Hubby promised me a trip to Vegas once I hit 150 lbs:
And the reasons why my health is so important:
Thanks for looking! I'm very proud of where I am now. I still have 15 lbs to go but I now know I WILL get there. And my hubby has dropped about 30 lbs as well!
