What's your mantra to keep you on track?

Keep on swimming . . . keep on swimming . . . keep on swimming . . .
From Dorie in Finding Nemo. (Note my ticker.) Losing weight isn't hard. It's tedious.
Including the variations of "keep walking", "keep running", and "keep lifting" as well as "I'm worth it!"0 -
"I take my health seriously and make conscious choices to protect and enhance it."
Works for both food and exercise.0 -
Don't be upset by the results you didn't get with the work you didn't do.0
-
"How will this make me feel afterwards" .... helps me every time - stops me stuffing my face and makes me go for that run i'm dreading ! ;-)0

The mind quits before the body...
Exactly, so when my mind says stop my mantra is usually "I got this, just a little bit more, I can do this".0 -
I only have mantras for running....as that is really the only place it starts to get hard sometimes. My top mantras are:
-Each step is one step closer to the top (hills).
-Just keep running, just keep running (to the jingle sang by Dory on Finding Nemo)
-You are doing great!
-Keep going, only X miles left.0 -
I know I can ~ I know I can ~ I know I can0
-
When I feel like I can't go any more I just tell myself that "The mental pain of being overweight far outweighs the physical pain I am experiencing at that moment".0
-
"don't give up what you want most for what you want right now."0
-
"I'm too short for this weight class."
This!0 -
"You're fighting for your life." It's playing in a continuous loop at the moment, so nothing is all that tempting.
That may be true on some level for all of us, but it's a little more present for me at the moment. When you really know that your life is in jeopardy you fight back hard!0 -
My mantra for 2014: Suck it up, Buttercup.0
-
When I want to quit at the gym I tell myself if you want the results do the work. That and a few other obscene things.0

I have a few:
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels
Sweat is fat crying
Go hard or go home0 -
"Mom, your stomach is so squishy!!!" As they grab handfuls and wiggle it. :noway:0
