Mission to become a 'yummy mummy'

Hey all,

4 years and counting... What's the best way to tone a 'mummy tummy'?

I'm getting frustrated! It's still sitting here, the first place I gain weight, summer is coming and I haven't worn a bikini in 5 years for fear the RSPCA will be called thinking there is a beached whale...

    Since it isn't possible to target fat loss, i would follow the usual advice for losing body fat, which is -

    - eat the right number of calories, and reasonably healthy
    - increase your activity level
    - follow a full-body strength training program.

    What exercise equipment do you have available?

    I use the gym at work, sometimes, when the weather isn't too bad I do a run across the woods/river. I used to do insanity but my doctor told me to stop because of my back...
    I just want to tone up!

    I was told to do things that target your core, Pilates is supposed to be good, I'm not really sure to be honest, but I have the same problem so well be interested to read others advice x
