Buy an island
Build a giant mansion on said Island
Dub the Island "Naked Island. Where clothing is NOT an option"
Invite my closest friends to come live on Naked Island
Get my custom made Rolls Royce Phantom complete with the wine fridge option
Hire a driver to drive me around in my Rolls Royce Phantom
Hit up Sir Richard Branson with my idea for a new airline
Make more millions off of said venture with Sir Richard Branson
Oh, and buy a bunch of gold and silver so that when the dollar collapses I won't lose all my millions and in fact will have more.
ETA: Not that I've thought about this or anything :laugh:0 -
Retire and move to the south of France.0

On 20 million? you would be the most sought after financial advisor if you can pull that.0 -
Hoard it like a dragon. I'd also do massage therapy on a volunteer basis - hospice, childrens hospital, oncology wards, amputees. That would be a very fulfilling life that would be made possible by not having to grind away at an 8-5 Mon-Fri gig. I wouldn't buy a big house or a fancy car, I'd live much like I'm living now, I'd just use my time on this Earth better.0

tell my mom & sister they would never have to work or worry for anything another day of their lives

build my own green house in my back yard , open my own art studio , donate money to farm sanctuary's and abused women's shelters / homes
and do **** all just create things , sleep , have fun with my mom , sister & friends
travel if I felt like it maybe
yup sounds good0 -
give my mom a couple million
put a million away for both of my kids (for college & getting started after college)
give each of my siblings $500k

buy a house & a car for myself
buy a house & a car for my BFF

Buy a modest $1m house in the San Francisco Bay area (and believe me, in SF Bay, $1m is modest).
Create a $1m trust fund for each child, with appropriate conditions for access.
Create college funds for both kids.
Hire a good financial adviser to invest the rest in a manner appropriate to never working another day of my life.
Live.
I guess I've gone and got all middle-aged.0 -
I would buy shimano's fishing reel division (lol, not nearly enough money) and make a curado with a staying power of the B model.0

You could probably buy an island (albeit a small one) for less than 5 million. A modest mansion could probably be built for 3-5 million. Custom Rolls Royce Phantom with the wine option is about 600k. I'm sure a driver wouldn't cost that much, especially if I give him free room and board. Gold and silver isn't that expensive so I could probably buy a few hundred thousand in that.
So far I've spent 10,800,00.0 -
