how many calories are in pomegranate seeds?

Ok, I know fresh fruit and pomegranates in particular are "good for me." However, when I look up their calories count in the database, I see a wide variety. Anyone help?

    Pomegranates are 83 calories per 100 grams.

    I will check out the Self Nutrition site. Unfortunately, I usually use cups rather than grams...But I sure appreciate your input. I can eat a cup of pomegranate seeds easily. YUMMM

    That is why I like the site. Most foods have various options. 1/2 a cup is 72 calories.

    I usually weigh everything as it is the most accurate.
