    When was the last time you wanted to hit your spouse?

    Mine was last week. She asked me if it was ok for her to pick up some 5 pound dumbbells at Target.

    She regally lifts 30+ pounds of toddler and is a former athlete. I got pretty mad and told her that she is much stronger than that.

    I kind of regret it now because target ones are super cheep compared to some real sets of ones that weigh something respectable.

      Two nights ago when he ripped the cover page of my Yoga Journal magazine apart. Granted, it had a rip in it already, but he ripped the damn thing clear off. And I did hit him.       Someone I respect to me told me once that you don't hit people you love, and I've never had the desire to raise a hand towards my wife. I regularly long for the days when parents could deliver a good spanking to misbehaving kids tho . . .

      Mine doesn't even do that. For some ungodly reason, he leaves whatever dish he's dirtied *next* to the sink. Drives me batty.
