I want the elusive smaller butt!

Hi everyone, im sure this question has been asked a million times but here goes ... I want a smaller butt!

I am watching my diet and doing enough cardio.I do do weights and have found deadlifts helpful but I find that squat and lunges build the muscle in my butt too much and actually make it appear bigger and rounder .. does anyone have any ideas to get a toned tight tush without the bulk?
