weekend recipes
I've noticed that when I am working 12 (+) hrs a day that I can do a decent job of tracking my cals and staying within my allotment. Days off, not so much. I am looking for some fun and easy recipes. Easy being the key word for I've also noticed that it is on days off that I crave the fast food and dining out experience.

I totally agree about wanting to eat out on the weekends.
I love cooking and don't always have the time after work/gym to make involved meals, so I keep a stack of 'weekend' recipes to try. I get excited about having the time to actually prepare these involved meals that take more than an hour. So, I guess for me it helps to have something to look forward to making instead of being tempted to go out.0 -
I'm totally on the same boat. Working, exercising, cleaning, and trying to maintain my household 5 days a week makes me want to be super lazy on the weekends. I don't want to cook, so I end up ordering pizza or something of that sort. I made chicken noodle soup last weekend, and made a whole turkey for sandwiches and snacks. Just try something that you can just throw in a crockpot and forget about for 5-6 hours. It's my savior for the weekends.
I just google low calorie crock pot recipes and there's endless recipes at the click of a button!
I hope this helps!0
