    dead lifts and squats

    i have two leg days.

    day 1 is Squats 5/3/1
    dead lifts @ 50% of my max (currenttly 150lbs), 5 sets of 10
    good mornings @ 95lbs, 3 sets of 10
    and then either body weight hyperextensions of hanging leg raises, 5 sets of 20

    day 2 is Dead Lift 5/3/1
    squats @ 50% of my max (currently 110lbs), 5 sets of 10
    barebell lunges @ 95lbs, 3 sets of 10
    and then either swiss ball crunches, or box jumps, 5 sets of 20

    i'll usually end the day with some prowler sled pushes. 135lbs, 20 yards, 6-8 rounds.

    Squats. Walking lunges...with a loaded up barbell. Standing calf raises, made harder by one leg at a time. Lying leg curls.
    Nap.

    How my leg days go. Leg extensions, leg curls (i don't go all out on these two, it's more about being properly warmed up for squatting), squats, sldl then either single leg leg press or front squats. Finish off burning quads and hams out on leg extension and standing leg curl. All exercises usually 12 reps with the exception of squats where I'll have a volume one week and low reps heavy weight (down to singles) on another. Works for me.

    - Get explosive and use hips

    - Try it with dumb bells.... super hard.
