NSV.....a great start to a new year!!

Went and did a little shopping after I got done with work last night. (Love this time of year for Clearance sales). While I was at Shopko I found a really cute pair of jeans on clearance for $5 but they didn't have my size. They had a 17 or a 7. 17 = WAY to big (hooray for me!!) so for the heck of it I decided to try on the 7. Well....I could get them on and somehow I managed to get them buttoned and zipped. Had MAJOR (and I mean MAJOR) muffin top going on, but hey...I got them on and they did button & zip. Never in my life could I wear a size 7. The smallest size I ever remember wearing my was junior year of high school (and that was 23 years ago), I was an 11. I'm wearing a 10 now, a 9 probably would have fit me very well. (I'm not one to care if something is a women's size or a junior's size. Right now I just want something that fits me well and is cheap as I continue to lose weight). I'm sure if I were to go back to the day and time I wore an 11, I would be in a bigger size now due to vanity sizing, but heck I'll take it.

I also went out to dinner with my sister-in-law, niece and nephew last night. Her mom was at the house when I got there. Now I've known her mom WELL before my brother and sister-in-law ever met (we worked together for many years) and she even commented on that face that she does not ever remember seeing my at this size. My sister-in-law made a similar comment. Said she had been looking at some old pictures and the difference in me was really noticeable.

I have a totally GREAT day yesterday!!
