I'll join in on the fun, I'm a fitbit flex user so I get totals for the day..:) 59.72 so far I'm sure when the weather warms up I will get more in too. I love walking and walking my dogs:)

I've been pretty lame with the mileage due to the cold I'm fighting currently and also because of my love affair with Zumba!

I'm just joining. I know we're already half way through the month, but I think I can do it. I use runmeter app to track distance, even though I've decided running isn't for me. It works for walking too.

Get a pedometer madeby Sportline. It's different than the other pedometers I've tried. This one just has to touch your skin to work. I put mine inside my bra on the side under my arm. I've also put it inside my bra in the space between my boobs. The only problem with that spot is if I bend over, it can fall out This pedometer will measure steps, distance, calories, average pace, and actual time spent on the activity. I love it!!! I paid $30 for the pedometer. Got mine at Dunham Sports. I've seen it online too. I highly recommend it.... Good luck!!0

I walk daily. I count steps, not miles. I walk between one and two hours daily. My total steps daily run between about 12,000 and 19,000 daily. I've never kept track of total miles. I suppose I should. I'd like to join you. I'm having surgery on Friday, and I won't be able to walk for a couple weeks afterward. I'm gonna go stir-crazy!! I'm 5 # from my half-way point this is the first time that I think I will actually meet my goal. I have realized that a proper diet and exercise truly are the way to go. I'm down 74 pounds since the Monday after the 4th of July. woohoo!!0

Too many things in the way of logging the mileage! If I counted all the mileage leisurely walking around shopping and also skiing on my vacation this past week then I might be closer, but oh well! Still getting the workouts in with Zumba, but can't track those miles. I'll at least shoot to make 20 miles this challenge and then hope to do better next month!!!0
