Stretch Marks after exercise!!!

I just completed day 9 of the 30 day shred and felt a small pain shortly after I sat down. I had a look and low behold I have a stretch mark on my tummy! I mean WHAT THE HELL. All my puberty ones have faded and now I'm exercising and a stretch mark has appeared. It wasn't here last week - I don't even think it was there yesterday. What's going on?

    I feel your pain!!
    I had a few faded stretch marks from puberty....but had never had one on my stomach...I gained some weight when I met my bf...one day I looked in the mirror and I saw a little red mark...was shocked and horrified! I now have them on my stomach...they are red but I'm hoping they will fade like my other ones did...I can only hope...

    Its unfair that you got one while being good and exercising though!!

    Stretch marks happen when the skin is stretched too far in a short amount of time. If you're eating a calorie deficit, it's not from muscle gain, so more than likely it was already there, but faded or not noticed. They do become more noticeable when one loses weight though.
