Wondering how accurate are they?
I had one done today, said I was 23.1% body fat. Just wondering....TIA.

It can be off by as much as 5%-8% because bio electric impedance can be fooled by water (hydration) in the body.

Been in fitness for 30 years and have studied kinesiology and nutrition0 -
So would that be 5-8% lower or higher?
My hydration level is 56%, they said that is good, if that helps.

I don't think it would be up. I have looked at female body fat %'s and I think I am around 20 to 22 %.
