Carb Cycling

Has anyone ever tried carb cycling? I was thinking of trying.

    I just ordered the book, I am going to try it. Sounds like a reasonable plan to me and one I can handle

    I started it on Saturday, I am already noticing more energy and I feel less bloated.

    Yes. Carb cycling rocks. I would do 3 days of low carb intake followed by 1 day of high carb intake. I got into the best shape of my life while carb cycling.

  • I started what they call Turbo cycling.
    Low carb on Mon and Tues
    high carb on wed
    low carb on Thu and Fri
    High carb on Sat
    reward day on Sun

    low carb like 11 or 50 carbs and high like what 200? right now I'm on low carb 26 carbs foir me I would like numbers if you can please and thank you

  • On the low carb days I just make sure I am under 30 net carbs and I don't pay attention on high carb

    And the reward day is just a free day of worrying about numbers? Not a binge day, I get that, but just a day where you dont have to count? And do we still eat at like a tdee les 20% deficit on both the low and high carb days?

    I'm starting on the Turbo carb cycle today. I was wondering the same thing about carb numbers on low and high days. Maybe it'll be figuring it out as I go what works for me.
  • I started last Monday and am down 2.8 pounds. I am trying to keep my calories at 1400 or lower. You will also want to drink about a gallon of water a day because unfortunately low carb foods are high in sodium. I didn't do the reward day. I consider the high carb days as my reward!!!
  • So in a week I have lost an inch off my waist, 1/2 inch off my hips, and 1/2 inch off my right thigh. I am doing some strength training and cardio as well!!
  • how many carbs is a low day/high day?? is there a certian range?
