Priorities?!

If you only had 30-40 minutes in the gym five days a week... what would you do to make the most of your time?

For me, my priority would be cardio. So I would probably warm up with a walk on the treadmill and then blast it out on the cross trainer. Followed by a light cool down bike ride.

I would skip the travel time to the gym, add it to the 30-40 minutes you have and go for a run. But that's me, it isn't that way for others.

3 days heavy weights with very short breaks, and 2 days of HIIT cardio.

I'd focus on one of the compound lifts per day mixed with 2-3 extra isolation exercises.

3 days of lifting 2 cardio.

Doing cardio the day after lifting will aid recovery.

    OR

    3 cardio 2 lifting.

    Depends on your goals.

I would do something like this, with only one day of HIIT though....So on my 5th day, I'd do the same body parts as the 1st day.

    Compound lifts.
