hardware store smell. Not so much the big box stores like Lowe's...but the old school smaller stores.

    swimming pool rafts/floaties

to a much smaller extent, I like the smell of certain pipe tobacco and cigarettes. I am NOT a smoker and don't like secondhand smoke, but sometimes I'll catch a whiff and think it smells kind of nice.

Ditto...for me I like the smell of stale smoke. Reminds me of my childhood. Stale smoke equals company came to visit the day before :-)

Puppies breath, driving on grass, the garden after it's rained, geranium leaves, wet horses, the smell when the washing machine is on a hot wash (sort of uber-detergent smell).

If any of you are as old as I am, long before there were copy machines, we used to have worksheets that were made with purple ink. These were called "mimeo graphs". When the teacher would hand them out, they would still be slightly damp and all of us would inhale deeply. It sort of smelled like markers and rubber cement, but much better.
