    Second Breakfast
    Elevensies

Also Afternoon Tea to stave off the 4pm hunger.

Why don't you just go ahead and eat lunch at 11 when you get hungry and eat a snack around 3?

    You are Hobbits, aren´t you?

That's how we roll in the Shire

Depending on how hungry you are for breakfast, you could try bringing your breakfast to work and eating it there to push your schedule back a little.

I eat 5-6x a day. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and sometimes another snack. If you find yourself being hungry between your main meals then make sure your snack has protein with it.

mozz. string cheese with an apple
    cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes
    peanut butter with celery
plain greek yogurt with frozen fruit

    good luck!! :flowerforyou:

I try to always eat a piece of fruit or two @ 10Am. It's my mid morning snack and holds me until lunch. I have another snack @ 3 or 3:30 that is a protein snack.. nuts, cottage cheese, string cheese, etc. That snack holds me to dinner (usually).

I usually eat a small snack of fruit like a box of raisins, a banana, or an apple. I try to eat 5-6 times a day but with smaller portions and more fruits and vegetables.

i eat whenever i feel hungry, every few hours. try and find what works for you, bring multiple parts for your lunch a main thing like a large salad, wrap, sandwich, soup etc then a few sides for your lunch like yogurt, veggie strips and hummus, apples and pb, mixed nuts, fruit etc.

usually nothing. I keep breakfast and lunch close enough together that I don't get hungry. I usually get hungry before dinner and if I snack it's then.

eating to frequently is bad for your system since your insulin levels will rise. High frequency of meals decrease your pH which negatively affects muscles etc.. not to mention an increase risk of dental caries <---fact
in my opinion it is better to eat a proper breakfast and if possible, drink coconut water

I'd be wondering more why you are getting light headed just a few short hours after last eating considering you are not as active. I don't eat for 40 hours & dont get that way, I can't understand why 4 hours between breakfast & your 'snack' is making you this way.

    Usually nothing, maybe an apple.

Are you getting hungry, or just light-headed? Maybe you need blood-sugar more than calories and just some fruit or juice would help?

Your current eating routine sounds fine, I've heard so many times more smaller meals rather than 3 larger ones and the whole not eating heavy before bed. Are you concerned about the light-headedness, feeling hungry, or just under the assumption there's something wrong with having lunch at 11:30?

I tried to name all my meals after the Hobbit meals, but MFP only allows 6 meals a day, and so I don't get to have second breakfast. ;(

    At least I have elevensies.

I have a quest bar and either a piece of string cheese or a piece of fruit such as an apple. I don't eat lunch while I'm at work, so this small amount is enough to get my through my work day.

I try to eat half of my daily calories at breakfast on the days I work. This can range from 800-1,000 calories. The OP's breakfast would have me feeling quite hungry an hour or two into my work day.

I find that if I eat a bigger breakfast, I can have a lighter snack to get me through to lunch. My favorite is an omelet made with two eggs, ham, mushrooms, spinach, etc. Or oatmeal and half a grapefruit or another fruit tends to be a good option to keep me full until lunch. For a snack, I go for protein (almonds, walnuts, and/or pumpkin seeds are a great option - in an appropriate serving size). Plus, drinking warm green tea and/or water and/or lemon water. Usually by lunch I will drink at least 24 to 48 oz of hot tea and water and/or lemon water (luckily, I can use the restroom whenever I need to - usually). .

This week I have been eating 3 Brazil Nuts in the morning for a snack at work, and a banana in the afternoon, which is great because it gives you a quick boost of energy. I would either pick nuts or fruits.

I eat breakfast at 6 and then usually eat again about 11:15 (I'm a teacher and this is when our first break is!). Sometimes I eat my lunch then, depends how hungry I am (I'm also pregnant). If I have a snack I'll have something like some nuts/seeds/raisins, or an apple, or some rice cakes with low fat cream cheese, or my Graze snack (if I have one left). Lunch is usually soup or a salad. For breakfast I have either eggs or porridge.
