So, what I say or do offends you. So what? That doesn't mean it's wrong and it doesn't mean I have to stop doing it. Last time I checked, this is still America and I don't have to guard my every word and modify my every action to make sure it pleases YOU! That is all. Phew! Now I feel better.

    I think the Socialist's, Progressive's, and Liberal's of this country would disagree. They can all stick it. It seems everyday there are stories of the political correctness of these groups trying to tell you what is right and wrong to say. Now I feel better also.

    Sure, but then we have the freedom to call you out on your bull and voice our anger and concern.

    It'd be a lot easier to, you know, be a courteous, respectful person. But I guess for some people that's too much to ask for.

    This just seems a silly post to me OP - not sure if I am missing something here.

    A. It is a global site, not just America.

    B. whatever you say, people have the equal right to respond, so they can say your post was offensive and BS - free speech works both ways.

    C if you are talking about posts on this or any forum - yes you do have to stick to rules of forum which means you cant just post anything - if it is offensive in a racist or whatever way and that breaks rules of forum, then, no You cant post it.

    Nah, people who use the term "politically correct" are generally just people who want to use it as an excuse for being intentionally offensive.

    It's not just americans who're like that. Every country has its fair share of those... I think most people recognise that, except perhaps those that actually wheel out politically correct in anything except ironic usage.
