Hi
I'm looking for some friends and some help. I have around 38lb to lose. It doesn't seem to matter what weight or height I put into the app I always get 1200 calories. I think for the first couple of weeks while I get back into "the zone" I'd like to hae around 1400 calories (I do plan on 3 gym sessions per week). Can someone tell me how to adjust the calories so that it gives me 1400?
Thanks

The only way that I noticed it change my calorie intake was if I chose to lose 1/2 lb a week or 2 lbs a week. Try changing your goal to losing 1/2 lb. a week.0

Try going to ...my home then goals should be an edit button at the bottom then change your daily calories0

go to this site http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/ it will give you a far more acurate calorie goal, 1200 will make you miserable long term0

Settings>> goals>> my goals>> custom.
I was set to 1240(?) when I started and changed it to 1300 with min 3x a week exercising. I might even up the calories. I've lost 4 lbs in 3 weeks, but I'd be happy to eat more and lose more slowly lol0 -
In addition to changing your loss/wk goal (to 1 or 1.5), you can also bump up your activity level. "Sedentary" comes back with 1200 far too often for many people's experience, and "lightly active" seems to be a good fit, even if you are well, sedentary.
Nothing wrong with trying the Scooby's workshop number, either - it's all going to come down to what works for you over time!0 -
I second the activity level change. Many are more active than they give themselves credit for, sometimes the reverse can apply, as with all things on this app it comes down to being honest with yourself.
Cheat days? Treat days, is a better term imo0
