Calories in soup

My mum made a big pot of soup that contained a scotch broth mix, a mix of lentils, barley and peas. According to the back of the pack it says 100g = 100 calories, which is the weight dry. I ate a quarter of the batch, so is this only 50 calories? This seems very low for a large amount of soup
Thanks.
Thanks.
