How often do you do this? In the next week I am going to start adding exercise. I have lost 7 pounds so far just changing my diet. Currently I've been eating 1724. How often should I adjust my intake when I lose?

Every time I weigh in and I've lost weight. I use MFP's calorie recommendation, so it'll shave a few calories off my daily recommendation.0

Oh, I see. I've been using the TDEE though not MFP settings.0

Adjust about every 5 lbs if you're doing TDEE. MFP will adjust at every 10 lbs automatically (or should).0

If you're good about logging your exercise (sometimes MFP can over estimate them), MFP will adjust your calorie needs each time you record your weight.0

Your TDEE changes with weight loss, so as you lose weight you need to adjust. If you are going to continue to use TDEE method (I do as well), your activity level is factored into that number so definitely recalculate factoring in your new activity level with the added exercise.0
