A year ago today (January 20, 2013) I was thinking about how unhappy I was with my size and just felt huge. My mom got me a digital scale for Christmas so I decided to step on it. The number was 285, I knew if I keep going like I was by the time next Christmas would come around I would be 300 pounds easy. I didn't want that so I knew I had to change. Well I ended up remember MFP I had tried it before and just never really used it. I even remembered my log it information and everything. I am not going to say I had a perfect year but I did have a pretty good one. As far as what I did the #1 thing you already know about which is count calories (MFP) and I also exercise sometimes more than others.
Here’s the numbers:
1/20/2013- 285, jeans tight 22, 3X shirts
1/20/2014- 228.3, jeans 16, 1x or xl shirts
*difference of 56.7 pounds I have lost 19.9% of my body weight.
Now I will share some photos from my journey....
1/23/13, 282.5- day three
3/24/13, 261.5- day three vs three months
8/12/13, 241.2 first day of school from one year to the next
9/22/13, 236.1, my old belt
10/5/13 told myself once I lost 50 pounds I would cut my hair
11/20/13, 234.6- 10 month mark
1/20/14, 228.3 what a difference one year can make!!
I can tell you without a doubt I never thought I would post this photo anywhere!!
Thanks
