I am new here & needing to change habits to get healthier.

Hi, my name is Susan and looking to get healthier and lose weight of course. I am in North Carolina but hope that I can get advice and/or suggestions from any "myfitnesspal" folks. My age is 45, I have always been rather thin and tall, 5'10, but as with most people age and lack of exercise can put you over your goal weight. I have always been able to eat what I want so this is going to be a eye opening journey. What are some of the best exercises to do? Any super recipes out there?

To who ever reads, good luck and best results to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use "my bootcamp hub" through the "No excuses workouts" Facebook page. I highly recommend the program(it's all on line). The coaches are so motivating and it's a quick 20-30 minute workout that pretty much anyone can fit into their schedule. You can do the workouts live or they keep a "tab" on their page with all the recorded workouts. The actual bootcamp started last monday but I know they do a free version too, I just don't know much about it other than that it exists:)
I'm pretty new to this page but I find it really helpful to be logging food and exercise to keep tabs on myself. I find myself more motivated to exercise….and if there is something I REALLY want to snack on or have for dinner that I "shouldn't" I will put in an extra spontaneous short workout so that I don't go over my calorie guidelines.
