Ummmm...what did i just read?!!?!!!! Please say it aint soooo?!!!!!
I have always been a lover of starches & carbs...with my lifestyle change i have limited my carbs & stay away from large quantities of potatoes bread pastas etc. but have kept it consistent with my brown rice in some form with every lunch meal.
And NOWWWW i read SEVERAL articles about there being HIGHHHH amounts of arsenic in rice & that brown rice is even higher!! Because rice is grown in water-flooded conditions, arsenic in the soil finds its way into the roots of rice crops and is eventually stored in the grains!!
Im wiggin out a little bit & wondering how harmful is all this im reading. Im sometimes so skeptical when reading health & food reports on the news or internet but this one really rattled me a bit, especially since im an avid BROWN RICE eater.
And to think i switched to brown rice to get more fiber...well back to white rice then??! (>.<)

Wash (slosh around) and rinse a few times, then continue.0
