Mobile app help please

This is the second time I've had this issue. The first time I uninstalled and then reinstalled. The issue is when trying to add to my diary . I click on add to diary and it will say loading but nothing comes up. If I try to scan a barcode it says cannot complete the operation. I tried turning on and off my phone as well as logging in and out. I am using a windows phone. Anyone know how tonfix this issue without having to uninstall the app again?

I haven't had any issues lately (knock on wood) but I have seen posts within my friends who are having a lot of issues. I know that doesn't help much0
