Sore muscles...exercise or not?

I did a kettlebell workout after a long break from it the day before yesterday and my leg muscles , particularly my hamstrings, are very sore. I rested yesterday but am trying to decide whether to go for a run today or not. I really should, but is it the right or wrong thing to do? Thoughts?
Actually running will help flush out the toxins in your muscles and you'll feel better afterward.
