Anyone else in the midst of finals/midterms?

It's really hard keeping up with weight loss especially when I have to spend all day in my room studying, focusing on schoolwork, not being able to move!

Anyone else in the same boat?

  • I'm in grad school, and working full-time. As my last semester of coursework began a couple of weeks ago, I realized, wow, I've gained weight and gone up a pants size. I'm back on myfitnesspal trying to make better choices. I don't have much time for exercise, so I'm trying to incorporate at least 15 mins per day of yoga, or a dance-inspired workout....Youtube has a TON of free fitness videos that can be used in a small space (like a dorm or apartment). My big focus right now is eating more veggies, fruit, and trying to reduce sugar.

The majority of my midterms start next week. So far, I've been able to keep up on working out, but next week makes me nervous!

I want to keep working out though -- you can definitely spare 30 minutes to do a workout. It's a great mental break and leaves me feeling refreshed. I'm going to schedule workouts during midterms! Last semester I got up some mornings at 5am to workout, other days I would wait until after my exam to workout. It's definitely challenging, but I do not want to fall into a slump!
