Baby steps..NSV?

Well, this isn't too much of a success story, I guess, but I finally forced myself to ride my bicycle more, and even to the gym. At first I hated it (REALLY hated it), and the ol keester was NOT too happy with me..

But after a couple weeks I've found that its my preferred mode of transportation. I love feeling the wind blow on my face and being out in the fresh air, rather than stuck in my car. I ride down multiple bike paths and see so many awesome and wonderful things I would've never had the chance otherwise.

I feel my legs getting stronger, and honestly since I hate running on the treadmill, it helps me get in my cardio when I go to the gym.

So, little baby steps!

Yeah, I've heard it takes about six weeks to get used yo exercise and actually want or enjoy it. I can't wait to pass that mark so I don't dread my workouts anymore and start seeing an actual difference.

You're doing great! Slow and steady is the way to go when it comes to weight loss. My goal is to do something for myself every time I lose 10lbs this way it keeps me motivated. I started this whole thing on 12/28 and I'm down 9lbs so far :-) We can do it!

I saw a guy lose 6 stone in 5 months with lengthy mountain bike rides. It's a GREAT form of cardio!

Well done and keep it up :flowerforyou:
