People who misuse ellipses tend to annoy me (hint).
I was going to say something, too.
I used to love the ellipses, until I tried the arc trainer. :drinker:
Yeah... well... what can I say?0 -

This is the first thread I have ever seen on this subject...
I wonder why no one else has EVER thought to post this.
Yet people continue to spell them wrong. If nothing else, it demonstrates that the people who actually need to read a post, don't.
(There's also no A in "definitely". Sorry, I couldn't help myself)0 -
Loose weight...yeah...:drinker:0

Please people for the love of all that is good in this world..I beg of you...I PLEAD of you...you LOSE weight so that your clothes get LOOSE...please make my day and learn how to spell these similar words on this site. I know it is petty, I know I am being crabby but make my Monday and help me out over here.....
Hay you dont need to get so upset over other people's grammer. Even though their not perfect and they're sentences may be a bit lose, at least there trying.

People who misuse ellipses tend to annoy me (hint). This said, my posts are replete with mistakes on forums as I make no effort to have them not be. Some people are more educated than other people, there is no need to point it out on a fitness forum.
Yes. Thank you. Remember how privileged you are if you even have time to care, and point out peoples' tiny grammar mistakes. You clearly still know what these people mean, which is the function of language. Chill out, dude. Use that energy doing something positive.0 -
This is like some posted over fashion board complaining the spelling of "Channel" or "CHOLE". LOL0
-
Also, as I have said many times before:
Speak for yourself. When I lose my pants, I will loose my weight upon the world!0 -
Thanks for clearing that up. I wonder why nobody has ever posted a similar thread before today?

Yep - an irritant for me too!
IRRegardless.
well now, that's a whole nother matter.0 -
i kind of like the idea of loosing weight.
i picture something like a huge canister of pillsbury dough popping open, spilling out and taking down power lines, smooshing people, etc.
eventually godzilla comes and fights the loosed weight and saves the city.
In for that movie!!!0 -

I wonder why no one else has EVER thought to post this.
but this time....THIS TIME... it will work and the mistake will never be made again.0 -

I misuse ellipses all the time. intentionally.

but, i didn't do it in this post just for your benefit.0 -

No kidding.0 -
Really? Where is the community and positiveness is this post? People are here for encouragement, motivation and just plain ol' help. Some (self included) are still learning the site and how to use and interpret things. I sometimes post or log from my cell phone. I didn't realize we were taking a spelling test.
I have also been guilty of messing up homonyms and mixing lose and loose (not here, but other places). Goodness, you guys make a person feel self-conscious about posting. You are losing the message in your being so critical.0 -

Many thanks.
Hopefully nobody here hates sentence fragments or I won't have afforded them the same courtesy.0 -
This bothers me too.0
