My uncle lost alot of weight when he went on this diet, i was wondering if anyone goes by this diet and how does the diet or eating plan works

My understanding was that the diets themselves were not bad at all. So if you "liked" what your uncle was eating, and found it satisfying, go ahead and use his diet.
BUT - the blood type connection is hogwash. Doesn't matter what blood type you are. If your uncle used "O" and you're an "A" - you'll still probably lose weight on his plan.0 -
This works for me. My blood is red, and I like my steaks rare. I've been doing it right all along.0

As others have said, the scientific basis behind the theory is flawed. None of the four types are particularly bad diets. You'll note most of them eliminate the higher calorie foods people tend to over. Many people simply benefit from eliminating those foods because they end up in a calorie deficit since they are no longer the kind of foods that usually rack up their calorie intake.
I have mentioned this before here - just a funny story on the topic - I went to a conference where a naturopathy doctor gave a presenation. She relayed her experience with the diet- she was supposed to eat the more vegetarian one, elminate red meats and such I think according to her blood type. She felt great, dropped a few pounds, skin glowed, she got compliments. Then during a conversation with her mother, she found out she was mistaken about her blood type, she was actually supposed to be eating almost the exact opposite type diet. Whoops.0 -
