Having a very very sad day!!!!!!

I just got a call and was told that a friend of mine had been hit by a car and killed. Her name was Christine and she was also a co worker of mine 20 years ago. We both worked as cashiers at a grocery store and became very close. She still worked there 20 years later and I always made sure I went into her line. She was one of the sweetest women I have ever met.

Her husband died 5 years ago from a brain aneurysm on their way home from a family vacation to Disney World.

Christine was a VERY loving and wonderful mom to 3 great kids. I am in a state of shock right now. Apparently she was hit by a car at 6:30am while she was standing on the side of the road near her home. The driver did not stop and she was then hit by multiple drivers.

I just can't believe that she is gone. I just saw her last week after I went to the gym and then joked to her that my hair was a mess and I was all smelly from the gym and she laughed and said "Oh, Lisa, you always crack me up."

She was 51 years young. Please say a prayer for her children tonight. They have now lost both parents at a young age.
