    The path is long and sometimes we don't see the light at the end but we don't give up.

    Guys you are all amazing and look so happy and just....ALIVE!!! There are so many "why bother" moments and then I see your pics and I realize that it's within my reach I just really have to want it, and work for it...so thank you for making realize I should "bother" and I should do so with every fiber of my mobidly obese being...mad love and keep up the inspirational work!!!

    To the rest of us just starting, struggling, 1/2 way there, almost there, at goal, what ever your circumstance.....don't give up folks....believe in yourself and keep at it!

    Hello everybody, I love seeing befores and afters and I have just looked through this thread in it's entirety. Thank you for posting it really does me good to see these, I am happy to post my befores and afters to reciprocate!!!!
    I am still a work in progress BUT I have given up the cigarettes and dumped the weight that I gained!

    I am now in a new place altogether, I run, ride my bike and do press-ups lol!!!!! none of which I would have be able to do if I still smoked. I love my new life, I am a little apprehensive with xmas approaching but I should be able to reign it backin after (i hope! gulps nervously!!!!)

    Anyway here is a before pic I was about 170lbs here

Thanks to all my loyal MFP pals, I dont think i would have enjoyed this journey at all without you and mostly THANKS TO MFP, I LOVE THE SITE, AND THE APP AND YOU ARE MY LATEST OBSESSION at least it is a healthy one!!!! One day very soon I will be running 10k and it is thanks to my ipod touch and the marvellous apps available, gotta love technology lol!!!!

    Before (Nov 2007) at my heaviest... this is the actual picture that made me say "I need to do something about this"

    my weight's roughly the same now as it was in that picture... I took a little detour there for a couple months!


    I know I still have a long way to go, but I feel so inspired by all the pictures here and it's also great to see such an awesome community that is here to help one another.
