My pup was born on Jan. 17th, coming home in March. Long coat German Shepherd. It will be my 3rd GSD. They always surprise me with their intelligence...

Congrats on the new pup, lost my 11 year old GSD about 2 weeks ago. He was my third , recognized during the summer he was starting to fail so I bought a Female Belgian.

Very sorry to hear that :( There are few days harder then the one where you say goodbye to your dog.

Belgian's are amazing dogs. All the best with your new family member.

2 Chihuahuas 1 white w/tan spots short hair and 1 chocolate long hair, they are both spoiled rotten and I wouldn't be without them, both rescues, one from the pound and the other from a friend.

Tried to add pics but I don't think I'll ever figure out how to add pics

Blue Cattle x Kelpie.... we think. She's 4 in June. Rescued from the pound at 5 mths old.
She had an xtreme sports injury a few years ago where she totally exploded the joint in her back leg - jumped for a ball and landed badly. Joint has been rebuilt and she's almost good as new. :-)

    Her name is Joanie.

An English Springer (born in Wales!) now nearly 10 and two second generation Labradoodles - a wavy coat black aged 4 and a smooth coat chocolate aged nearly 2. I help out in a dog training club - I love meeting all the puppies of all different breeds and cross breeds - my doodles help with the demonstrations and with socialisation - lots of pups are scared of big dark dogs - but soon realise that my two are their friends! My doodles are in our club's obedience display team which does events for charities and summer fayres etc and we have also have fun with agility - not good at it but enjoy it - losing the weight and becoming fitter will help me keep up with them better!

My last one was a Kangal. By far the smartest dog I've encountered. My buddy lost him when I was on vacation last August & I'm still missing him every day,

Right now? A virtual one, I'm not home enough to take care of a real dog.

Though, I grew up with a Shih-Tzu my Mother got when both he and I were five. He passed when we were sixteen.
His name was Gizmo, came from an abusive home, he showed clear signs of being hit and kicked(He would growl and threaten to bite if you raised your hand over your head, or brought your foot back.) But though we were bitten quite often, he became a BIG part of our family. Once he realized he wasn't going to be hurt anymore, he stopped biting(About a year-two years before he stopped completely), and became SUPER friendly to anyone and everyone. He LOVED cats, and people food. Didn't like walks that much though, or getting his hair trimmed, lol.

A three year old female golden retriever named Anndee.
  • I have a Papillon and a Papkie (papillon and yorkie mix)
  • I have a Chiweenie (half dachshund and half Chihuahua). Or at least that's what breeders call it when they try to sell them as designer dogs. He's a mutt to me, and I got him at the pound. He's a little sweetheart, but the dachshund makes his prey drive strong so he's always after my poor cats.
  • A Boston terrier named Petunia and Fox terrier mix named Pokey.
