I am finding it hard to get rid of the last 10-20 pounds, which is what I think is what I need to lose to get rid of the last flab on my belly, yet to be determained. Anyone else at this point? What are you doing to get rid of that?

I am at my last 7 right now...or it might be another 17 I don't know...
I already hit what I thought was my goal...then changed it...
And to be honest I am not fighting with it...it's going away peacefully...but I was fighting over November and december...I think it got the message and it has given up
What am I doing...eating 1600 calories a day...weighing my food, lifting heavy weights 3x a week and HIIT 2x a week
My diary is open...0 -

It's going to be hard, you really don't have 10 lbs to lose IMO.
I'm in my last 8 but I guess I *could* lose 5 more, undecided yet. I'm just eating 1600, weighing my food, walking every day for 40 minutes if I can and lifting weights 3x a week.
In your case I'd suggest lifting heavy weights.0 -

I was going to say that....OP you look great btw...lifting or some sort of resistence training for a while will get you the look you want.0 -
It's hard, frustrating and there are times when you think: "Why bother?"
I've got 6-8 more. Ugh....and my diary is open if anybody is interested.0 -
Whats the trick? Persistence. Despite the expectations of online calculators, the human body does NOT lose a steady 1lb per week in a linear way over time. Your body will hold onto water, fat and other stuff when you don't want it to. Then suddenly 5lbs will melt off.
You just have to keep applying the work, eat right and trust that it will happen. I've got 15-20lbs to lose, currently its coming off predictably but I know it will stall. I've had many stalls in the past, done nothing wrong. Then 4-5lbs gone over a weekend. And everyone is a bit different so don't worry I say.0 -

I forgot to mention that I do crossfit on mondays, tuesdays, thursdays and fridays. Wednesdays I do kettlebell class or rest and on thursdays I do an hour of olympic lifting on top of crossfit. I rest on saturdays and sundays, once in awhile I do yoga class on saturdays.0 -

Your body may respond well to a deload or one-week rest. You may want to play around with it. Focus on getting lots of sleep, focus on eating even more optimally than you do. I have sometimes lost weight by exercising less than exercising more. Even no exercise at all for a week may be what your body needs to flush some water weight. Experimenting with your routine could prove very valuable.0

I'm on the last 7 pounds, and so far I've just been doing exactly what I was doing the whole time I've been dieting. I'm eating 1300 calories a day, doing no exercise, and it's coming off at about half a pound a week, which is what I'd expect with this many calories. I haven't found I've needed to change anything in my routine or diet to make the last few pounds come off.0

I've been within 1 pound of my goal weight since the beginning of January and it is the most frustrating pound ever! Today, I am within 3 pounds. I have added a lot more strength training in the last month as well as different exercise routines, so while I'm not doing anything but gaining and losing the same 3 pounds, I have lost an inch from my thighs. I would rather have that than that one pound, but I would just like to say "goal met". I am going to take a couple of days of rest, with only some walking and see what happens. Unfortunately, Super Bowl Sunday is tomorrow and I am probably going to eat well over my 1600 calories. So my cycle will continue.0

Last 5lbs aswell, I'm gradually increasing my calorie intake and seeing what happens. Other than that I'm combining cardio and strength training x3 per week but may increase to x5 per week at lower intensity0

I've got about two pounds left. TWO!!!!!! I know that's laughable and ridiculous when you think about it, but the last few pounds have been a *kitten*, especially because it timed with the holidays. This month I visited family and that was a setback as well. Call me nitpicky but I really want to hit the goal just to say I DID IT in full and I'm a completist like that.

I've got 12 more lbs to go! So close yet sooo far I'm just sticking to what I've been doing and it's starting to slowlyyyyy come off but I guess slow progress is still good. But yeah i feel like getting the first 60 off was extremely easy and now this last 12 is super hard.0
