Hello! I don't know how to post pics here but check my profile. The latest pic is me in Nov. in a purple dress. Its a size 6, a little snug, but I still want to lose some more. I have lost about 22 lbs so far. I have been a little lazy this winter, but I plan to get back on track to finish the last little bit.

I also don't think its racist, many times the posts are mostly of white women, which I enjoy as well, but nothing wrong with wanting to see women who may be shaped similarly or have a similar build. I also post when they ask for short women, which presents its own unique set of challenges. Also congrats to the women who posted here about your weight loss :flowerforyou:

Just FYI, your pix don't appear to be visible on your profile page.

Oh okay, I didn't know that. I'll see what I can do to fix it...thanks!

Here's my before and in progress photo's. It's far from over. I fell off the wagon for a few months but now I'm back to pick myself back up. Here's me in my heaviest and lightest since being an adult. It's a work in progress!

    Heaviest weight 260
    Current weight 160's

    Awesome work!

Some members have have suggested that this thread may violate our guideline that prohibits divisive topics.

The intention of this guideline is not being violated if the theme of a topic is the solicitation of African American success stories: the community as a whole is welcome to participate in a supportive and motivational way.

However, several posts to this thread were divisive and focused on whether this topic should be allowed. For the purposes of restoring this topic and getting it back on track, these have been removed. I would like to see this topic stay focused on the intended theme of success stories and motivation, and urge folks to contribute positively and remain on-point. If you feel unable to do so, please move on without posting.

We welcome feedback on our decision to keep this topic open, but this input should be sent to me directly via private message, not as a response to this topic.
