New 30 Day Shred Fitness Group! Lose by Christmas!

So here is the plan! We start the 30 Day Shred by Jilliam Michaels Tomorrow- yes it is short notice BUT then we will be finished by Christmas Eve party time. We can do this together! Everyday we will do the 20 minute workout either in the AM or PM- up to you and just log on to comment on our progress. We can motivate each other to stick with it and keep it going! Who is with me?

What a great idea! Count me in. OMG 30-day shred is hard, I did it over the summer and haven't worked out in 2 months, this is the kick in the butt I need!0

me BUT I warn you I joined the october one and then fluffed it up and stopped so I will need reminding and poking because I'm EXTREAMLY flakey when it comes to workouts
but now they all have defenition and shape and im still blah !!

I will give it a shot. I have gotten bored with it in the past, but now I can tell myself 'its just till christmas' First time I got all the way through level 2 asnd I just don't even kow what happened but I never started level 3... and I'm still curious what she will ahve me doing.
Naptime ( close to noon) will be my shred time~0 -

Hi everyone!! I'm new to the boards and MFP ... but I think I have this DVD (funny, if i had been using it like i'm supposed to I would KNOW if I own it, lol) ... I will check and review it tonight and see if I can do it. I had back surgery 2 years ago and have some slight limitations.

I'm in! I started it November 1, but I'm working at a slower pace than most. I don't do the workout everyday, but every other day. I'm doing level 1 three more times before moving on to level 2. Good luck!0

Okay!! I am in. I tried it a couple of weeks ago and failed misserably. :sad: My goal was to try and do this Jan 1st but I think I can do this now with motivation and support from MFP friends. I'll just need to learn how to modify so I can keep moving forward.
I have perfection issues, if I can't do it like Jillian and her back up peeps, I will tend to throw in the towel.0 -

Ok!!! I've never tried it, but I had been curious so I ordered it from the library and just picked it up today LOL!! what a coincidence!! This sounds like just the kind of challenge I need to keep me going strong! Can I just add it to what I currently do or is it supposed to be the only thing I do?0

I did day 1 level 1 and made it the whole way through, no quiting this time. I did have to take a couple 5 second breaks but I did it. How did everyone else make out? It did get a little easier after the first set for me, I think that one was the hardest.0

So I have a question.... We are supposed to do this same video every day for 30 days? No days off? Ok, then we just move to the next level whenever we are ready and when we hit day 30 in a row, then we made it? I assume the thought is to be at level 3 before day 30?
I watched the video last night and I'm mostly excited about the strenth and ab work. I'm at the point now where I really need to kick that up. Prob is that I did a really tough workout yesterday so I'm sore this morning LOL! Not so sore I can't move, but I can definetly feel that my muscles were stressed. Now to start this should be interesting. Bummer that my kids are up already, so I guess I'll have to wait till nap time to do it. I hope it's okay to do this in addition to my regular 60 min workout (today will be the elliptical).
One more question. Are we tracking in this thread or is there somewhere else?0
