50-calorie chocolate chip cookies!

I think we all know that bananas are one of the best baking ingredients ever, and I'm sure this same recipe has been reincarnated several times here, but:

* 2 bananas mashed
* 1 cup quick oats
* 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Mix the bananas and oats first, and then add chips. Bake 16 cookies exactly at 350 degrees, and each comes out to 50 -- you can have two for just 100 calories! I've also made these with butterscotch chips and added cinnamon and vanilla. I really want to try white chocolate chips and vanilla soon, too. Or even with raisins.

Alternatively, pumpkin is a wonderful thing. Mix the same numbers exactly, but use pumpkin instead of mashed banana. (Pumpkin will be about 1 cup) This is best with the butterscotch chips, or raisins and cinnamon, too.

Happy baking!!

    Add a tsp of vanilla extract, half a tsp of baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt to make them a hundred times better and adds pretty much no more calories. Even better, blend the oats in a food processor first to make them more flour-like in texture before adding in the other ingredients. These are like my favorite things ever. You can alternatively add raisins and cinnamon to make them oatmeal raisin cookies. :D

    They don't sound that bad.

    But OP, I wouldn't tout them as "50 cals each" because it depends on the amount of banana.
    Bananas are not uniform in size or weight. And by calculating your recipe based off the size of the banana, you're introducing great inaccuracy in your calorie count.
    I'd weigh out your ingredients instead of measuring them.

    Oreo cookies are 45 calories each.

    Just saying.
