loose and lose are 2 different words, and it seems people always get them mixed up. I cant help that this a pet peeve. Is anyone else bothered by this?
Loose - adjective \ˈlüs\
: not tightly fastened, attached, or held
: not pulled or stretched tight
of clothing : not fitting close to your body : not tight
Lose- verb \ˈlüz\
: to be unable to find (something or someone)
: to fail to win (a game, contest, etc.)

I cry every time I see this. It's basic English.
Here's a tip for remembering:
Loose - I have a loose shirt or loose skin. Why? I have too much of it! More cloth/skin mean more o's!
Lose - I want to lose weight. I want fewer o's.
