    1) Disney Kid Plates - I had a problem with portion sizes, this keeps my portion sizes to the right size. Add in that I love Disney & it's awesome.

    2) Home Treadmill

    3) Zumba for the Xbox & the DVD series. Ok, and the music CDs. You can toss any workout dvd / game under this one but Zumba is the heavy hitter.

    4) This is a toss up between an ipod or the home gym set we got for weight lifting.

I am the KING of buyers remorse too, as soon as I buy something, right after I am  But haven't regretted any of the above purchases for even a second. :drinker:

Personal training. Without a doubt. But I have spent lots of money on lots of things, because I make health and fitness a top priority. All the other things I could buy with that money would be useless if I wasn't healthy enough to enjoy them.

My Trimline Nautilus t350hr treadmill. And my Suunto t3c HRM. Cant even put a price tag on the amount of pounds i lost over the years using those two pieces of equipment. Not to mention the knowledge i have learned in the process.

    1. NROL4W
    2. Weights
    3. Gloves so the bar doesn't screw my hands lol

I bought a HRM. I ditched it after a couple of months, but I use the watch every single day to time intervals and workouts.

I just need to finish emptying the garage so I can set everything up in there properly along with a pullup bar. And get a punching bag & gloves. It might save me money on alcohol if I can hit & kick something of an afternoon after a looooong day instead of needing that glass of wine

The best thing most people can purchase for fitness goals is a book outlining how to set and accomplish goals. Most Americans don't have a fitness problem; they have an ability to accomplish goals problem.

A book that fits this is - "Succeed: How We Can Reach Our Goals"

At the beginning i'd say my Wii Fit. I actually purchased it years ago when it was first out but it helped me get moving more when i began losing weight 2 years ago. My exercise bike and cross trainer also.

Then my HRM, food scale and now fitbit.

I agree with the Wii: no matter how lazy I feel, at least I can put in a few minutes on the Wii. Even when I am in recovery because I pushed too hard earlier in the week and aggravated my spine, I can do the Resort cycling sitting on the ottoman.
