Fruit smoothie, but add a handful of spinach (really, you'll hardly taste it) and a scoop of protein powder....gives you a decent amount of protein and a veg:)

Egg Muffins is my favorite go to right now - Make them on Sunday, eat all week. Beat 12 eggs (I use 1/2 real eggs and 1/2 substitute) - using a silicon muffin mold or spray a metal one with pam - put your favorite breakfast meat in them, add some veggies, top with a bit of cheese, pour the eggs in - cook for 25-35 min at 350 - my favorite combinations are spinach and mushrooms with a tiny bit of pepperjack cheese, ham and cheese (for my sons). In the morning grab 2 and microwave them for 30 seconds. Keeps in the fridge all week and I love them - about 75 calories a muffin.

These are great! I haven't had these in a while. I am gonna have to make these for my meal prepping this week.

    Oatmeal with chocolate PB2.

LOVE chocolate PB2! I add it with my NOW whey protein isolate and soy milk for a yummy quick shake.
  • I like some plain oatmeal mixed with two eggs whites, add some cut up apples., (never tried it yet but add some pb)and make like a pancake with sugar free syrup...yum. Ive only eaten it without the Pb and it was really good

1 cup egg white, 1\3 cup flavored oatmeal and you have delicious pancakes. Sugar free (20 calorie) maple syrup makes it good tasting, rich in protein and very healthy.
  • Apple n almond butter, hard boiled egg, protein smoothie, oatmeal are typical breakfast foods.
  • I rarely have anything for breakfast besides oats. But there are so many ways to fix them! Why have anything else?

Overnight oats (especially wonderful in a recently emptied pb jar)
    with blueberries
    with cocoa powder and stevia
    with peanut butter and cheerios
in pancake form, with egg whites
mixed with a ripe banana and formed into cookies or muffins
baked oatmeal (so many flavors, but I'm a fan of apple pie)

One of my favorite things for breakfast is a sweet potatoe/squash/zuchini hash. It is a little labor intensive on prep but very tasty. You can make a huge plate of it, and it is very low cal, low carb. I add 1-2 tsp of oil to large skilltet. I dice half a sweet potatoe and 1/4 a butternut squash into aprox. 1/2 in cubes. Cook on mediumish heat till they are getting opaqueish and a little tender. I also add a little water in the bottom of pan and put on the lid if its not coookin as fast as I want. Then I dice zucchini yellow summer squash a 1/4 an onion into same cube size. Toss into pan and cook all to your desired tenderness. I sprinkle with a dash of garlic salt and lawrys. Ground rosemary is great too. You can also dice and throw in some meat, I love smoked turkey and ham. Mushrooms, bell peppers, kale and spinach are great to toss in too. This is really just a base I like to play with.
