Wearing Bras Too Much (Ladies)

In all seriousness, my wife has a sleep bra thing she just bought. Seems to like it.0

I think whatever study said that wearing a bra promotes sagging needs to do any sort of research on regions that don't have the social rule for women to wear bras (mostly because they're all topless and near-naked anyways). They're boobs are waaaaaay saggier than boobs of women in regions that wear bras.0

Sometimes if I'm really tired I fall asleep with my bra on (that`s when you know it`s a comfy fit) and I forget to brush my teeth :ohwell: .
As for wearing a bra... I really don't think it matters either way. It is personal preference, wear one when you want and don't wear one when you want, and go topless whenever you can and do naked dancing around the home.
Yay for naked dancing.0 -
Oh so you are a tranny. My bad dear.
'Tranny' is a derogatory term so I suggest you stop using it.0 -

And he did a great job with the manscaping!0 -
do people really not have health class anymore?
that makes me a little sad considering this is 2014 and not 10140 -
I'm a 36 DD so not wearing one is less of an option. I wear a sports bra to bed and a normal VS during the day, and both when exercising-- but I recently found out about a website for busty women so I will likely have 3 bras to wear throughout the day. As for the research... Idk... I wear them so I stay perky it seems to work.0

I love the "don't know how to support themselves anymore" argument. My breasts are strong and independent, with or without a bra, thank you very much.0 -

I remember feeling that way when I was young too, time is a harsh mistress.0 -
i go without as often as possible0

I hate bras and remove mine as often as possible!0

Personally I think it's a little unhygenic not taking your bra off to go to bed0

It's a love hate relationship and personal preference. I hate wearing them, but I hate not being supported even more (DD's). I'm not sure about all the "research". You can find a study to show whatever your opinion is about anything. All I know is I don't want to look like the women in the National Geographic pictures who never even see a bra in their lifetime, so I wear some type of support during the day, but not at night.0

I barely ever wear mine. Only when I work out, really.0

Yes but women from indigenous cultures like that usually had more children, had children younger, and breastfed for much longer, than modern western women.
There are more differences than just bra wearing vs non bra wearing.
OP, I don't think it really matters.
I wear a bra during the day and take it off when I go to bed - but that's just my personal preference.0 -
I hear wearing bras can cause cancer. Same with wearing shirts...and pants.0
-
Why would you ever wear a bra to bed when you... didn't have to? If I didn't have to wear pants in public I never would. Clothes come flying off the second I'm back in my room after classes, bra included. I only wear it when I have to.0
-
I'm a 36I... I can't not wear a bra. When I take it off, I feel so uncomfortable.0
-
I went from a 38G to a 36D due to weightloss. When I was bigger I would sleep in a soft cami with support or a vest/crop top just to keep everything in one place.
Now, if I don't have to have a bra, I don't wanna wear it. As soon as I get home I'm out of it.0 -
Not sure how true this is but...
A new study shows that wearing a bra is linked to higher incidence of breast cancer. Women who wear a bra 24 hours a day are 125 times a likely to develop cancer as women who don't.

I haven't had issues with wearing bras but if you have the wrong size on you can do some damage. I think it's up to you to listen to your body and practice safe hygiene.0 -

I have to wear a bra even to bed, but it's caused my ribs to sink in where the band is mostly in the back.. When i gained weight years ago, i forgot to go up a size, and my ribs adjusted to the tight bra, i didn't realize it had done damage until this past summer. i am now aware and try to sleep in a very loose bra that doesn't wedge itself inside the groove. I am trying to find a bra extender to loosen up the bra a bit if i can but i haven't found one yet.
I need to have this looked at. it's not causing health issues except it's sore a bit. I do a lot of stretching now that i am aware of the issue. we have a chiropractor friend so next time i see him i am going to ask him what to do.0
