I buy the Luna Protein (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) they are 170 Calories and have 12g protein.
and also the Kelloggs Fiber Plus Protein Peanut chewy bar and they are 170 Calories and have 10g protein.
both are very good!!0 -
I like Quest. Some people have a problem with the texture though.0

Quest bars. 160 to 210 calories for 20g of protein and 17g of fiber. You'll have to try out several though, some really don't taste great, but everyone likes different ones, lol. My favorites are white chocolate raspberry, chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies and cream. They are better nuked for 15 seconds too.
I also love the pure protein soft baked ones (not the regular ones). They have only 17g of protein for 190 calories but they are delicious.
Typically you don't want to go under the 1g of protein per 10 calorie ratio (so Luna and Fiber One/Keloggs might be delicious but a pretty bad calorie/protein ratio for a 'protein bar').0 -
I use Pure Protein. The Double Chocolate and Chocolate Peanut Butter are very good! 180-200 Calories 20g Protein 2g net carbs, and inexpensive. about $6 for a box of 6 at Walmart.0

Quest bars and Life Lift bars both are fairly low in calories and have 20g of protein and a high amount of fiber. Both taste fairly decent to me for what their packed with.0

I'm for the ThinkThin bars - especially strawberry, peanut butter and espresso - about 200-220 cals and 15-20 grams of protein. I love them as an actual snack, not only a protein bar. You can find them at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and in my area (western WA) even at the drug store. If you like wafers and want a REAL desert treat, try the Power Crunch bars - 13 grams of protein and about 200 cals. AMAZING!
I've always enjoyed protein bars of any kind, but Quest are the biggest disappointment out there... I mean they are ok if you just want to put protein in yourself, but the texture is strange and the taste kind of fake.0 -
ThinkThin bars taste way better than Quest bars IMO, if taste is the main thing you're looking for. They are also less expensive and a lot easier to find these days.. I've seen them in many "regular" stores and even a 7-11 or two lately. They have different nutritional profiles though so try both and see which works best for you.0

I actually haven't been impressed by Thinkthin bars.
Oh I recommend the Chocolite bars too... hard to find though, and two of them gave me massive gas stomach cramps but they are really good and have a great ratio of protein/calories. Some are 95 calories with 10g of protein, some 230 calories for 20g (if I remember correctly).0 -
Pure Protein, much more protein for the calories!!!0
