Hi All!
I'm hosting a Valentine's Day party on Saturday night for 8 - 10 people. Any ideas for low cal appies and desserts?

So far I'm thinking of chicken shish-ka-bobs; Beet, cabbage and apple salad; and maybe an angel food cake with raspberries for dessert. I'd love to hear other ideas.

Thanks so much!

Fruit kabobs are always a nice one. They make eating fruit as an appetizer easy and look really nice. Sometimes I will also make a yogurt dipping sauce to go with them.

Fat free plain greek yogurt mixed with sugar free fat free cheesecake pudding mix. (8g per 1 cup or so). It turns into a thick DELICIOUS cheesecake mousse. 175 cals for a whole cup which is a lot with 23g protein! When summer rolls around, I plan to make parfaits with this and fresh fruit. It would be lovely with some angel food cake and raspberries.

This weekend I'm going to sweeten and spice some canned pumpkin and mix to make a pumpkin cheesecake, but I'm not sure yet how it will turn out.

I just posted a coffee Quinoa cake recipe in the recipe section. You could make a chocolate version also.
