how do u stay motivated in pm?

I need help. I do so great all day so perfect and at night when I get home from work its like it all catches up with me. I lost 7lbs no problem and now im plateauing bc im eating more and straying at night mainly. At night im tired bored or just want to feel full. I drink tons of water..idk just need help. Please and thanks!!

    I also have a very hard time at night. I sit down and relax and all the sudden I want to eat everything. I have been trying to replace the bad food I'm used to munching on with good choices. I will eat carrots or an apple. I try to eat foods that will fill me up without the calories, fat and sugar. You should try not to eat because you're bored but if you need to eat try to just make choices that will aid in weight loss.
  • I totally understand. I will eat a snack at night and it can start the frenzy as I call it. Drinking hot tea helps or air popped popcorn. Foods with sugar in them start that chain reaction to want more and more. Well it does for me.

    Ditto. Plus I set up a rule to watch no tv after 9:30pm. It helps a lot. Most the time I tidy up the house, read, or f$#* around on my phone while lying in bed. Or, I do my nails so I can't touch anything

    I have issues especially when I come home after work and it seems the stress of the day just catches up with me. What works for me so far is just saving a larger portion of my calories for after work.

    I am not a breakfast person, so I usually save a good amount of my calories for the pm, like BlueLinsang.

    It doesn't work for everyone, but it is what I have to do if I want to stay on track.

    Thanks I have tea and love it..it just slips my mind when im hungry. It does start a chain reaction. Ive tried saving up cals and it makes it worse. There are nights I dont eat much and im fine but then im like oh I still have 300 cals left I better eat them and the frenzy (good word) begins. Thanks.

  • Totally get it, I lose control in the afternoon usually and can't stop myself anymore.
