New start any help appreciated

Hey I am making effort to start to shift at least 50 lb as 5.2 and15 st not a good or healthy look...have gradually piled on the weight following ill health and bad diet but now realise I need to make a drastic change and stick to it! Any help to stay on track and motivated welcome please feel free to add me kaz x

Hi kazxoxx! Welcome to MFP! I'm a newbie too. I did a lot of googling at first... Like to figure out a goal weight, how many calories to eat each day, healthy recipes, etc. Good luck!0

My best advice is... slow and steady wins the race. Don't try to lose too fast. Take your time, and let those new habits really sink in. And don't deprive yourself of what you like. Just have the bad stuff in moderation and work your calories/macro/exercise goals around it. Log everything every day. Good luck!0
